Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.
Ephesians 3:20-21
I want to quickly share a testimony with you of how FAITHFUL God is! When Marcus and I began planning our wedding day, we agreed on our budget and we decided to decrease the budget because we felt like we could still have a beautiful wedding day with what we wanted even with a lower budget. Now keep in mind that, even when we decreased the budget, we didn’t actually have the money in the bank. We just believed that the Lord would work it all out for us and He exceeded our heart’s desires!
As we were going through the planning, we began receiving unexpected amounts of money that took care of many of the things that needed to be paid for. On top of that, the Lord divinely connected us with people who were such a blessing to us like our wedding coordinator who didn’t charge us a dime for her labor, and the venue manager who showed us so much favor!
To make a long story short, with all of the financial gifts that we received, we ended up receiving back over double what our wedding day cost! Needless to say, we have been so grateful for God’s goodness and grace throughout the whole process and even after our wedding day.
This is a condensed version of our testimony (the full version will be up on my YouTube channel very soon) but I hope that from this you are encouraged by the fact that God truly is a promise keeper. He says in His Word that all we have to do is seek His Kingdom and its righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. The will of God for our lives is greater than what we could ask or imagine for ourselves so continue to seek Him and know that all things are working together for your good!
And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
